ice cream mixing tanks are standard mixing tank equipped with dish top on the mixing tank top position and a bottom enclosure. We can call this kind of tanks as dish top tank, dish end mixing tank, or sealed top mixing tank. In some country, users call the sealed top as ellipsoidal. Our G-2E series mixing tanks usually comes with a 300mm diameter manway on the dish top, manway cover open towards right side of the tank drum. the manway hole can be 300mm diameter, 350mm diameter, 400mm diameter or 300x400 elliptical manhole.

This kind of dish end mixing tank looks like our G-2C series mixing tank, they both have manway on tank top. And both of them have breathing hole.
The difference between G-2E (dish end mixing tank) and G-2C (conical drum mixing tank) is: G-2E series can bear higher pressure. You can use this dish end mixing tank together with vacuum pump to reduce the air and bubbles in your production process.
So G-2E series (dish end mixing tank) are widely used in wash liquid production, hair cream production, chemical cosmetic production and chemical reaction as well as pharmaceutical industry.

 The mixing speed of this steam jacket mixing tank with dish end can be big or small. Standard mixing speed for cosmetic heating process is 25rpm, 36rpm or 60 rpm. Using heavy duty mixing paddle to push the cosmetic in mixing tank and get the cosmetic evenly heated in short time. Our G-2E series also called cosmetic melting tank or cosmetic heating melting tank.
Steam jacket mixing tank with dish end capacity 
The smallest steam jacket mixing tank with dish end we have ever made is 20Liter, heating by electric (resistance). Most hot sell steam jacket mixing tank with dish end are 200L to 500L capacity. We can also offer stainless steel mixing tanks in other capacity such as 1000L, 1500Ltr or 2000 Liter.

Most of our steam jacket mixing tank with dish ends are made of stainless steel material. SS304 (SUS304) and SS316 (SUS316) are widely used in our mixing tanks.

Heating function for steam jacket mixing tank with dish end
If you are going to make sugar cane candy or jaggery, you will need to heat the sugar cane juice to 115 to 120 degree. If you want to use this tank for a saponification reaction, you may only need to heat the soap paste to 50 to 60 degree C. or maybe you want to use this steam jacket mixing tank with dish end as a simple batch pasteurizer, 65 to 85 degree C is ok.  No mater you use this mixing tank as cosmetic cooking tank, as chemical soap reaction kettle or as juice batch pasteurizer, our mixing tank can meet all of your temperature request without any problem.
Cooling function for steam jacket mixing tank with dish end
Some users need a cooling process after heating. It is depends on your usage of this tank. If you use this tank as a cooling and heating tank, or we call it aging tank (ageing tank), you will need to cool the liquid product after heating process. Steam heating tanks can be cold by cool water or ice water directly. If your mixing tank was heated by electric or gas, you will need to cool the liquid product outside the mixing tank. Obviously most steam jacket mixing tank with dish ends no need cooling process. Also, cooling function is unnecessary in soap mixing process.
