Bag Housings / bag filter housing

Bag filter housings are available in a wide range of configurations and materials. Bag filters are ideal for high flow filtration applications. They are often used for coarse filtration but they are capable of filtering down to 1 micron. A size #2 bag is the standard size for high flow, multi round housings. There are several parameters that must be taken into account but as a guideline, a single #2 bag housing is typically good for flow rates of 100 GPM.

We can help you select the right system based on your specific needs. We offer a wide range of filter bag housings in stock that are available for immediate shipment. Current inventory includes single bag housings all the way up to 12 round bag housings. Housings can also be custom built to your precise needs.

    
 How Cartridge Filtration Works
Unfiltered liquid enters the filter housing from the side or top and liquid fills the interior of the filter housing. Liquid flows thru the cartridge filter from the outside in. Particles are trapped while the processed liquid moves to the center of the filtration system and flows out from the bottom of the filter. O-Rings are used to create a positive seal between the lid and housing. Multi cartridge systems function the same way.
