200L Electric heating tilting jacket kettle
cooking kettle with oil jacketed
JACKETED KETTLE GENERAL INTRODUCTION
Jacketed kettle also called as jacketed evaporative cooker or thickening pan. Adopt stainless steel as its main construction material. Using indirect heating make it easy to clean. The double wall structure which make up a jacket for heating medium such as steam and thermal oil result to a faster heating effect compared with normal cooking pans. Use a hand wheel to discharge the cooked product so there is no material accumulation at drainage opening. When equipped with anchor or scraper type agitator, jacketed kettle can be also used to the production of various of liquids which are sticky or thick.
JACKETED KETTLE APPLICATION JACKETED KETTLE USAGE
Jacketed kettle is an improved, self-contained version of large stockpot used for top cooking. It is widely used to boil beans, vegetables, pasta, simmer sauces, stocks and stews in restaurant, school and hospital. Also, it is an essential equipment for milk and juice production as well as chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
JACKETED KETTLE MAIN STRUCTURE
Most of our jacketed kettles are made of double wall structure. Interior contact to product directly, so this wall will be mirror polish to meet GMP and other international standards. Exterior wall is weld to the outside of the interior wall. Between the interior and exterior wall, there is a gap for heating medium. We call this gap as jacket. This is why we call this kettle as jacket kettle. According to user's production request, jacketed kettle can be equipped with thermal insulation wall or without.
And some kettles with agitator and some without.

ABOUT HEATING MEDIUM
Electric heating jacketed kettle usually use heat transfer oil as heating medium. Here in China we use #320 oil. It is uncessary to use the same oil as what we use in China. You can use any kind of heating transfer oil that you can findin your market.
A 500L electric heating oil need about 90 ~ 100L heating transfer oil in total. Please do not inject too much oil into the jacket. If oil quantity is too much, there will be some oil flow out of the jacket and make your workshop dirty.
When you get the kettle in hand, there is no oil inside the jacket. Please inject oil before you turn on the heating elements.
There are 3 valves realted to heating oil. The oil inlet valve (see the red circle at the upper right corner), the oil outlet valve (see the red arrow at bottom of the kettle) and the exhaust valve (see the blue cirle).
